Medical and Surgical Management of Vitreous and Retinal Disease

Dr. Syed is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of retinal disease, practicing in Maryland since 2008. Dr. Syed is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. He attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at Medical College of Virginia. He completed his fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. Dr. Syed specializes in treating macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, retinal venous occlusions, macular pucker and macular holes, and all retinal diseases.
