The term “Advanced Directives” refers to your oral and written instructions about your future medical care in the event you are unable to express your medical wishes. There are two types of advance directives: a health care directive and a durable power of attorney for healthcare.
On your day of surgery please bring a copy of your”Advanced Directives” /”DNR Orders/Durable Power of Attorney” so that we may make it part of your medical file. The physicians and staff of the surgery center respect your right to participate in decisions regarding your healthcare, however, the policy of the center is that all patients undergoing procedures will be considered eligible for life-sustaining treatments .
