• • Please have your pre-operative testing completed and faxed to 410-583-1009, 72 hours prior to surgery.
  • DO NOT EAT, DRINK, CHEW GUM OR CANDY, OR SMOKE ANYTHING AFTER MIDNIGHT.
  • If you (or your child) are taking medications for your heart or blood pressure, please take it with a sip of water the morning of surgery. Please hold all diabetic medication until after surgery. Phentermine and Ephedra should be stopped 2 weeks prior to surgery.
  • If you take Flomax/Tamsulosin, Hytrin/Terasozin, Cardura/Doxazosin or Uroxatrol/Alfuzosin, contact the surgical coordinator at your surgeon’s office immediately.

Arrange to come with a responsible adult, licensed to operate a motor vehicle, who can accompany you to and from the center. That adult must stay at the center during your surgery. Please contact your surgeon’s office with any questions regarding eye drops prior to surgery.

In case of an emergency after hours, please contact your surgeon’s office or go to the nearest emergency rooms or call 911.
