Do not eat or drink anything after midnight the night before your appointment including gum, candy, mints, or cough drops.
Please bring your photo ID and insurance card.
If you take blood pressure, heart or seizure medicine and you normally take it in the morning, please take it the morning of surgery with just a small sip of water.
Do not wear any makeup, jewelry, or dark nail polish. Also do not wear any lotion or cream on your face.
Shower with antibacterial soap either the night before or day of surgery.
Wear something comfortable and easy to get over your head as you will leave here with a shield over your operative eye.
Be sure to start your eye drops prior to surgery as directed by your surgeon.
Bring your kit with all your eye drops with you on the day of surgery.
Only patients are allowed in the surgical center at this time unless you need special accommodations (translator, wheelchair, etc.)
Nursing home residents: bring in a copy of medications and the date and time of last dose.
