Shruti Aggarwal, M.D.

Medical and Surgical Cornea, Cataracts, LASIK, and General Ophthalmology

Dr. Aggarwal specializes in cornea and refractive surgery. Her primary interests are corneal transplantation, ocular surface tumors and reconstruction, corneal cross-linking, premium intraocular lens cataract surgery and vision-enhancement procedures (LASIK/PRK). She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO). Dr. Aggarwal has delivered numerous presentations at international meetings and authored more than 20 publications in scientific journals. Her research interests include corneal pain, dry eye disease, and corneal infections.

Dr. Aggarwal received her medical degree from Government Medical College and Hospital at Chandigarh in India where she graduated with the highest honors. She then completed a competitive Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship at the Harvard Medical School. She went on to complete her residency training in Ophthalmology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She did her fellowship training in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami consistently ranked the #1 eye hospital in the United States. Outside of the office, Dr. Aggarwal enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.
